  • HOW TO USE

    • Trim the wick:  Before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to prevent a smoky, uneven burn. 
    • Choose a safe location:  Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials, drafts, and vents. 
    • Use a sturdy holder:  Ensure the candle is in a stable holder that won't tip over easily. 
    • Keep it away from children and pets:  Supervise children and pets when candles are burning. 

    Lighting and Burning:

    • Use a long match or lighter:  Light the wick carefully, using a long match or lighter for safety. 
    • Burn for the right amount of time:  Burn the candle long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the top, but not so long that it creates a large flame or soot. 
    • Don't burn candles all the way down:  Extinguish the candle before it gets too close to the holder or container. 
    • Don't blow out the flame:  Instead, use a candle snuffer or gently extinguish the flame. 

    Safety Precautions:

    • Never leave a burning candle unattended:  Extinguish the candle before leaving the room or going to sleep. 
    • Keep candles away from flammable materials:  Ensure there are no curtains, newspapers, or other flammable objects within a safe distance of the burning candle. 
    • Ventilate the room:  Ensure proper ventilation when burning candles, as they can release trace quantities of toluene and benzene. 

    Extinguishing:

    • Use a candle snuffer or extinguish gently:  Use a candle snuffer to gently extinguish the flame or blow it out gently. 
    • Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting:  This helps prevent overheating and ensures a safe flame. 
    • Dispose of the candle properly:  When the candle is finished, dispose of the wax and container responsibly.
